Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a hands-on machinist in Cincinnati who collaborates with engineering to translate designs into precise, repeatable parts. The role centers on CNC lathes with potential mill exposure, requiring solid GD&T knowledge and strong setup capabilities.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, understand tooling and fixtures, program fundamentals, and ensure accuracy through offsets and G-code execution. Opportunity for growth and close teamwork with engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC machining experience, preferably on lathes; mill experience beneficial.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T to plan setup.
• Hands-on CNC setup, including zeroing, tool changes, offsets.
• Knowledge of G-code and fixture/tooling requirements.
• Experience with three-axis machines; four-axis exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering to translate requirements into practical machining processes.
• Review prints, set up machines, and run parts to spec with proper offsets.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and program fundamentals for consistent quality.
• Monitor quality and communicate issues to design and manufacturing teams.
