Job summary

Oceaneering in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate production machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and saws. You will machine materials to drawing specifications and conduct in-process inspections as required.

This on-site role requires reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, including GD&T, to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

The position supports manufacturing needs and collaborates with shop personnel to maintain workflow.

Job description

The primary responsibility of this position is to set up and operate production machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, saws. Machine materials to drawing specifications. Reads and interprets drawings and specifications, to include Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), as required.Perform in process inspections where required.

This position is an onsite positon at our Houston, TX facility. The hours for this position are 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Hours can vary between 8 -12 hours per day based on workload/ business need).
