Composite Factory in Mooresville, NC, is seeking an Experienced CNC Machine Shop Technician to operate and maintain CNC and manual equipment, read blueprints with GD&T, and ensure parts meet engineering specs. This role emphasizes precision, safety SOPs, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, strong math and mechanical aptitude, and is capable of setting up complex jobs, performing tool offsets, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade certification preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with CNC machining and basic machining processes.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions; willingness to learn blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including loading/unloading tooling and materials.
• Program, adjust and troubleshoot CNC machine parameters to meet specifications.
• Read engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles.
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect and validate part accuracy.
• Perform intermediate to advanced machine setups with minimal supervision.
