Belvac in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, including 5-axis mills, turning and grinding as required. You will follow prints and instructions to produce precise parts and ensure quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience with speeds and feeds, tool layouts, and the ability to run multiple CNC machines in a production environment. This is an onsite, full-time role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

With over 300 employees across seven locations worldwide, Belvac is able to support customers in real time in over 150+ countries.**General Function**: Set up and operate numerically controlled machines to perform series of machining operations, such as turning, milling, boring, threading and facing on parts according to work instructions and procedures to assure Belvac’s quality of work is upheld.**Physical Requirements**:· Requires long periods of standing (up to 10 hours/day)· Must be able to operate overhead cranes· Although all production areas have overhead cranes, on occasion Manufacturing, Stockroom and Assembly employees may choose to lift items by hand for convenience.
