Job summary

Blusadefense Mount Laurel is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and run CNC milling centers. You will inspect parts to ensure tolerance, deburr finished pieces, and maintain equipment and a clean, safe shop.

The role requires 3–5+ years of CNC milling experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with inspection instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, bore gages, and CMMs. Significant physical demands apply.

# CNC Machinist (639)Mount Laurel - Mount Laurel, NJ 08054## Description**Job Summary:** Set up and run CNC Machining Centers.**Essential Duties:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:* Safely and competently setup and operate CNC mills with minimal supervision and technical guidance.* Perform part inspections as necessary to ensure quality of work and continually monitor parts production to ensure adherence to blueprint tolerances using appropriate inspection tools and criteria.* Deburr parts after machining operation to meet required specifications.* Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion and perform basic preventative maintenance activities as required.* Maintain correct daily labor time recording and AS9100-related quality documents.* Perform other general shop duties or assist other departments as business demands require.## Qualifications**Education /Experience**:* High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is ~~required~~ preferred.* 3-5+ years’ CNC Milling experience.* Possess a working knowledge of typical shop inspection equipment such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators, bore gages, CMM’s, and be proficient with all inspection methodologies.* Good working knowledge and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), metal cutting principles, tooling, and thread nomenclature is required.**Physical Requirements**:**I**ncludes regular exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and respirators.* Must be capable of standing for extended periods of time.* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
