Job summary

FC Industries Inc in Dayton, OH is seeking a CNC Machinist for all shifts to set up, verify, and run 5-axis CNC Mills. You will interpret G/M codes, prove out programs, and troubleshoot machines to meet tight tolerances for aerospace and DoD programs.

The role requires 5+ years CNC experience, DOD eligibility, and experience with Hurco/Okuma controls. Competitive pay and full benefits accompany a stable employer.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of department equipment and processes.
• Read, write, and comprehend written and oral instructions.
• Monitor machine sounds to diagnose changes and act accordingly.
• Must meet DOD eligibility requirements.
• Experience running Hurcos and Okumas is a big plus!
• Minimum 5+ years CNC Machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Set production machinery for acceptable processes and obtain run approval.
• Edit and interpret G and M Code.
• Prove out programs and set ups.
• Run 5 axis CNC Mills.
• Analyze machine, tool, and program issues and perform basic repairs.
• Perform repetitive and custom work with fixtures and indicators to control tolerances.
• Ensure conformance to quality specs using gauges and indicators.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Meet production quantity and quality standards.
• Maintain safety practices and PPE compliance.
• Follow and enforce work instructions and company policies.
