Job summary

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist for an opportunity in Wichita, KS. The role involves setting up, operating and inspecting parts on conventional and CNC machines to meet production timelines.

Candidates should have experience with 5-axis CNC machines and be able to read drawings and process specifications. Shift flexibility and willingness to perform routine maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with 5-axis machines
• Experience with specific 5-axis machines such as Cincinnati, Makino, Okuma, Mazak is preferred
• Highly skilled and able to work with minimal training
• Must be open to any shift, weekends and OT work

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and inspect parts on CNC machines
• Work from drawings and process specifications
• Perform multi-tasking and multi-machine operations
• Produce parts ensuring product quality through measurement and verification
• Maintain machine and quality records and perform routine maintenance
