Job summary

Spearhead Staffing LLC. is seeking a CNC Machinist for a full-time role in the Cherry Hill, NJ area. The ideal candidate will program, set up, and operate 3-5 axis milling, turning, and EDM machines, with MasterCam 2025 experience and familiarity with exotic materials such as magnesium and kovar.

Responsibilities include in-process inspection, program improvements, and mentoring entry-level machinists while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma (or equivalent); vocational or technical training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of CNC machining and milling experience.
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve program and machining issues.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision.
• Strong team player who can work with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Setup and Operation of 3-5 axis milling machines, CNC lathes, and EDM.
• Proficient in MasterCam or similar CAM programs to create 5-axis programs.
• Perform inspection using standard shop measuring equipment.
• Develop/suggest process improvements.
• Train entry-level machinists when applicable.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Read and interpret GD&T drawings.
• Work with metric and inch measurements.
