Carlson Tool & Manufacturing is seeking experienced 2nd Shift CNC Machinists to create a wide variety of precision components by programming and operating 5-Axis Machining Centers. Responsibilities include:

1. Set up, program, and operate 5-Axis Machining Centers.
2. Review part specifications and requirements.
3. Set up workpieces, create machining sequences, and select tools.
4. Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications.
5. Maintain accurate inspection documentation using measuring instruments.

Other Experience and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience operating 5-Axis Machining Centers.
• Ability to program with Mastercam.
• Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings.
• Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to process precision parts from start to finish.
