Job summary

Snap-on is seeking a mechanically inclined individual for a 3rd shift role from 10:00pm to 6:00am, paying $28.95 per hour. The position requires setting up, running, and troubleshooting CNC or manual machines in a manufacturing cell.

Responsibilities include completing set-up, assisting and training other operators, and ensuring data documentation and product quality per drawings and specs. EOE.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 1–3 years in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience.
• Ability to use shop mathematics, read drawings, specifications and formulas.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and apply techniques.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, specifications and formulas with limited detail.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, troubleshoot, and operate all machinery in cell.
• Assist and train other cell operators.
• Submit required data and documentation.
• Meet and maintain department productivity goals.
• Follow safe operating procedures and housekeeping practices.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure product print compliance.
• Make minor edits, including variable edits, to CNC programs.
