Job summary

Sandvik Coromant is seeking a CNC Machinist for its Westminster, SC facility to set up, program, and operate CNC grinding equipment producing precision tooling.

You will create and optimize CNC programs, manage quality data, and ensure safety, environmental, and ISO standards are followed. The role emphasizes strong attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to operational excellence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC grinding equipment.
• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs.
• Operate centerless grinders, cylindrical grinders, CNC tool grinders, cut-off machines, and precision measuring equipment.
• Enter quality, SPC, production data into company systems.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with major repairs as needed.
• Meet established productivity, machine utilization, and cycle time goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
