Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a CNC Machinist for a fully onsite 3rd shift role in Downers Grove. You will read blueprints, set up CNC lathes and mills, install tooling, and verify dimensions to tight tolerances.

We offer a wage of $24.00-$32.00 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with company match, healthcare, and tuition assistance, with a modern climate-controlled facility. Sign-on bonus of $4,000 is available for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• Two years of related machinist experience.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Must have good attendance and reliability.
• Able to read English blueprints and work instructions.
• Must pass machinist test.

Responsibilities

• Read process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets and instructions.
• Machine and install or recut chuck jaws as required.
• Insert and secure tooling in machine turrets and perform setups.
• Download and upload programs and make minor programming adjustments.
• Operate CNC lathes/mills to manufacture finished parts within tight tolerances.
• Inspect own work and assist others; document results.
• Enter data into ERP system.
• Load and unload parts up to 25 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.
