Job summary

Orchid MPS Holdings, LLC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to support production of medical devices in Arab, AL. You will operate CNC 2- and 3-axis machines, identify X, Y, Z coordinates, and run multiple machines with supervision.

Responsibilities include basic machining, setup, monitoring programs, maintaining inspection records, and adhering to QMS procedures. High school or equivalent; lean manufacturing and medical device experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required or preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.
• 1+ years operating machining equipment in manufacturing.
• GD&T knowledge and blueprint reading required.
• Basic numerical data handling and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and perform basic setups.
• Run multiple machines with supervision and monitor performance.
• Complete shop work orders and inspection docs daily.
• Make offsets and adjustments with moderate supervision.
• Support health, safety and quality procedures.
• Participate in training and process improvement activities.

Learn more here.**SHIFT**ALA - Shift 1 ($0) (United States of America - Alabama)**A BRIEF OVERVIEW** The CNC Machine Operator position contributes to the production of medical devices by operating and performing basic set ups of CNC 2 and 3 Axis machines, with the ability to identify X, Y, Z and 0 coordinates. He/she is responsible for running multiple and varying CNC machines simultaneously, such as Lathes, EDM Wire, and Plunge machines in addition to operating manual machine tools to cut, drill, shape, and finish quality products with some supervision.
