Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist for the 3rd shift in Chippewa Falls, WI.

The role focuses on editing and operating Okuma and Mori CNC equipment, performing in-process inspections, and supporting robotic cells to ensure high-quality production. The ideal candidate has a two-year machine tool program or equivalent experience, strong GD&T and G-code knowledge, and solid math skills to read blueprints and set up tooling with precise speeds and feeds.

• Two-year Machine Tool Technics program or three years of related machine shop experience.
• Able to read and understand blueprints.
• Know and understand GD&T.
• Know and understand G code.
• Know and understand speeds and feeds for various materials and processes.
• Knowledge of inspection equipment.
• Strong math skills and the ability to perform precise measurements.

Responsibilities

• Edit programs for Okuma 3000, Okuma Mill, OKuma Captain, CNC Lathe, and CMM.
• Set-up and operate Okuma 3000, Okuma Mill, Okuma Multis, Okuma Captain, and Mori CNC Lathe.
• Deburr all parts and perform troubleshooting.
• Complete in-process inspections of parts and identify defects or out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Support Robotic Cells and maintain a safe, orderly production area.
• Inspect and measure completed units to verify quality and identify machine-caused defects.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance as needed.
• Understand decimals and basic mathematics for sizing and tolerance checks.
