Crown Holdings, Inc. – Wissota Tool in Chippewa Falls, WI, is hiring a CNC Machinist for 2nd or 3rd shift. Set up and operate ID Grinding machines, inspect parts, and maintain safe production areas.

Pay is $23.00–$25.00 per hour, with 36-hour weeks paid for 40 hours, and shift differential 15% for 2nd and 3rd shifts. We offer health, dental, vision, 401(k) with 3% match, vacation and personal time, profit sharing, and opportunities for professional growth within a global leader in metal

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to understand decimals in sizing

Responsibilities

• Set Up and operate ID Grinding Machine.
• Operate ring inspections, deburr all parts and perform troubleshooting.
• Complete in-process inspections of parts by identifying malfunctions or out-of-tolerance grinding; adjusts controls of machine to correct errors.
• Inspect and measure completed production units to identify defects caused by machine setup.
• Perform equipment maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a safe and orderly production area with the ability to meet production standards.
• Understand decimals and basic Mathematics.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Job Description

Pay: $23.00 - $25 per hour

Wissota currently operates under three different shifts; however, this position is for the 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00PM) or 3rd Shift. (3rd shift schedule is Sunday Night 7:00pm -7:00am, Monday Night thru Wednesday 11:00pm - 7:00am. Work 36 hrs, get paid for 40 hrs

Job Responsibilities

• At least one year experience in manufacturing is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mulit-task.

• Consistently reliable attendance

Requirements

• High School diploma required.

Highly Preferred

• Physical ability to operate and repair machines.
• Prolonged periods (up to 4 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and stretching, between breaks.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at times.
