Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a CNC Machinist in Paw Paw, MI to operate multi-axis CNC machines and produce high-precision components for aerospace, medical, defense, and agricultural sectors. The role includes reading blueprints, GD&T interpretation, and ensuring tight tolerances with calipers and micrometers.

The shift runs Friday–Sunday 6:00 am–6:00 pm, paid 40 hours for 36 worked, with an industry-leading benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand production procedures.
• Experience with Gantry Style, Swiss Style, or Mill/Turn lathes is a plus.
• Experience with Murata or Star machinery is a bonus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-axis CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts.
• Troubleshoot equipment and setup issues efficiently.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and GD&T to ensure tolerances.
• Use calipers and micrometers to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
