Job summary

Conductix-Wampfler is seeking a CNC Machinist for 2nd shift to support daily production and setup of CNC and conventional machines. You will work with various materials and assist with project-specific fixtures and setups to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has an associates degree or apprenticeship in machine/tool and die technology, 3–5 years in manufacturing, and strong problem solving and communication skills in a quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or apprenticeship in Machine/Tool and Die Technology.
• Ability to run and set up conventional and CNC equipment.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a quality environment.
• Exhibit problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines per drawings.
• Read blueprints and verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Select and set up fixtures, tools, and attachments for machining.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust controls as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve issues.
• Support and sustain 5S and quality/EHS policies.
