Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for the Starlink program to set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines, including mills and lathes, with emphasis on high precision. Responsibilities include drilling, milling, turning, and tooling management in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years of CNC experience, G-code proficiency, and the ability to read blueprints. Second shift in Redmond, WA with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of CNC setup/operation experience.
• G-code experience is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to 5-axis mills and 6-axis lathes.
• Carry out drilling, tapping, milling and turning operations per blueprints.
• Produce tight-tolerance parts from various materials.
• Prepare material, deburr, handle waste and keep machines organized.
• Follow instructions from drawings or verbal directions.
