Job summary

Dentsply Sirona in Johnson City, TN is seeking a CNC Machine Operator on 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) to set up, operate, and monitor grinding machines producing fluted endodontic files. The role requires basic machine operation experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Technical degree a plus (AS/BS).
• Six months to 1 year machine operation experience or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Study shop orders and work instructions to determine specifications and tooling.
• Set and adjust machine controls according to product specs and gauging.
• Start‑up, grind, lap, hone, debur, shear, or cut work pieces per specs.
• Observe operations and adjust machines to correct issues.
• Mount and changeover grinding wheels and tooling.
• Maintain 5S/6S housekeeping; ensure safe, clean work area.
