Job summary

CG Model Tek LLC in Tennessee is seeking an experienced CNC Mill machinist (3-5 years min) for 3-,4-,5-axis work. The ideal candidate reads blueprints, runs and edits programs, sets up complex parts, and applies GD&T.

Experience with Mazak and Haas controls is preferred; DoD clearance is welcomed with sponsorship. We offer full benefits (75% company paid), 401K, and a $5K relocation allowance. Pay ranges from $35 to $50 per hour with overtime likely.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum CNC Mill machining experience.
• 3-,4-,5-axis experience required; CNC lathe a plus.
• Reading blueprints and editing/setting up programs required.
• Familiarity with GD&T essential; Mazak and Haas controls used.

Job description

We're an Aerospace R&D shop located in Tullahoma TN, looking for an experienced (3-5 yr min) CNC Mill machinist with 3, 4 & 5-axis experience. Additional experience on CNC lathe is a plus. We have multiple openings for this position.

The perfect candidate would be able to work as part of the team yet work independently. They should be experienced at reading blue prints, running programs, editing programs, setting up complex parts and more. Familiarity with GD&T is required. We run Mazak and Haas machines.

A DoD Security clearance is preferred but not required. We will sponsor one upon hiring.

Everything we do is one of a kind and related to the development of new aircraft, missiles, launch vehicles and more. It is a very dynamic environment in an exciting field.

We offer full benefits (75% company paid) along with a 401K and generous holiday schedule. Pay is between $35-$50/hr with overtime likely required. We do offer a $5K relocation assistance as well.
