Job summary

EnerStaff LLC in Spring, Texas seeks a CNC Machinist for a temp-to-hire role on 2nd shift (4pm-1am Mon-Fri; training days 5am-3:30pm). Pay $20-$28 per hour with a $1 shift differential. Tasks include reading blueprints, setting up, inspecting first runs, and ensuring tolerances.

Preferred 1-2 years CNC experience; must pass background and drug screen; steel-toe footwear and eye protection required.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications, tolerances, dimensions and tooling instructions.
• Sets up machine, observes operation, inspects first run and sample pieces for conformity.
• Determines processing specs including materials, cutting lines, dimensions and sequences.
• Examines finished work pieces to verify conformance to standards.
• Marks, stores and ships material as required; completes paperwork accurately.
• Performs routine and preventive machine maintenance and inspections.
• Assists others with setup and handling of finished pieces; editing programs (speed/feeds) is a plus.

2nd Shift:4pm-1am M-F regular schedule- must be able to train on days for 2 weeks (5am-3:30pm)

Currently they are working 6/12 due to demand (4pm- 4am M-Sat)

Pay:$20-$28 with $1 shiftdifferential

Job Description

• Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications such as dimensions,
• tolerances, number of parts to be run, tooling instructions or other written
• specifications.
• Sets up machine, observes operation, and inspects first run and sample work pieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
• Determines processing specifications such as materials, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences.
• Examines finished work pieces and verifies conformance to quality standards
• Mark identification material before or after processing, store material for additional processing, and/or shipping
• Accurately completes work order paperwork/documentation
• Performs routine and preventative machine maintenance and inspections as
• required
• Assists other machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces.
• Ability to performprogram editing (speed, feed tools, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with Fanuc 18i control, Okuma, OSP, and Mazak
