CNC MACHINIST – 2ND SHIFT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for setting up, operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) 5 or more Axis
2. Must be proficient at all types of drilling, tapping and milling and turning
3. Must be able to complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
4. Must have experience with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School diploma or GED
2. 5+ years of experience in set up, operation and programming of CNC Mill/lathe machines
3. Previous experience with G-code

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Horizontal Mill experience
2. Programming CNC machines
3. Experience running lathe machines
4. Ability to read and work off of a blueprint

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. unassisted
2. Able to work overtime and 2nd shift hours as needed
3. Able to stand for extended periods- 8 hours minimum
4. Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces
5. Must be able to work overtime as needed
6. Repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting

1. To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
