Job summary

Plansee USA LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for our Franklin, USA facility. The role covers setup and operation of standard CNC lathes on Kiwa and Okuma machines, with emphasis on reading blueprints and GD&T.

Proficiency with measuring equipment (hand tools to CMM) and competence in reading G & M code are required. A solid understanding of simple program edits and setting up complex jobs under limited supervision is expected.

Qualifications

• CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3 required.
• Kiwa and Okuma machine types with Fanuc and Okuma controls.
• Set up and operate standard CNC lathes.
• Read blueprints and GD&T.
• Fluent with measuring equipment from hand tools to CMM/optical.

Qualifications

• CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3.
• Machine Types: Kiwa and Okuma, with Fanuc and Okuma controls.
• Ability to set up and operate standard CNC lathes machines.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T.
• Fluent in using all types of measuring equipment from hand tools to CMM and optical comparator.
• Read and understand G and M code.
• Ability to perform simple program edits as needed.
• Must be able to set up complex jobs using work instructions or guides and work under limited supervision.
