Job summary

Plansee USA LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for our Franklin, USA site. The hourly position involves setting up and operating CNC lathes using Kiwa/Okuma with Fanuc controls, reading blueprints and GD&T, and ensuring precise measurement with CMMs and other tools.

Candidates should be able to read G and M codes, perform small program edits, and work under limited supervision on complex jobs. A competitive benefits package is offered with a sign-on bonus and shift differential.

Qualifications

• CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3.
• Kiwa and Okuma machines with Fanuc controls.
• Set up and operate standard CNC lathe machines.
• Read blueprints and GD&T.
• Fluent in using measurement tools from hand tools to CMM.
• Read and understand G and M code.
• Perform simple program edits and set up complex jobs under supervision.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3.


• Machine Types: Kiwa and Okuma, with Fanuc and Okuma controls.


• Ability to set up and operate standard CNC lathes machines.


• Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T.


• Fluent in using all types of measuring equipment from hand tools to CMM and optical comparator.


• Read and understand G and M code.


• Ability to perform simple program edits as needed.


• Must be able to set up complex jobs using work instructions or guides and work under limited supervision.
