Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. in Farmington, CT, is seeking a skilled LPM CNC Machinist to set up and program large parts for precision machining.

You will ensure quality control of weldments and machined components, maintain clean work areas, and follow safety procedures in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate has 4 years of CNC machining experience, can read complex programs, and is proficient with gauges and micrometers.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as a machinist on relevant CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret complex programs using G and M codes.
• Able to make offset wear changes or zero-point shifts as required.
• Able to use gauges, micrometers, and other measuring equipment to inspect parts.
• Read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings.
• Strong attention to quality.

• Relevant technical education is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret complex programs, understanding the G and M codes used
• Being able to make offset wear changes or zero-point shifts if required
• Being able to properly use gauges, micrometers, and other equipment necessary to measure and inspect individual work
• Being able to read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings
• Having great attention to quality
