Top Prospect Group is seeking a CNC Machinist for a 2nd shift, fully onsite in Farmington, CT, 3:30 PM–12 Midnight. Direct hire with a salary of $25-$30 per hour and excellent benefits.

You will set up and operate EDM/CNC machines, edit as needed to match blueprints, and inspect features per specs. Candidates should have 4+ years in manufacturing, strong Lean knowledge, and proficiency with Job Boss ERP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment.
• Experience with EDM, Makino Fast Hole, or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Strong listening and communication skills; verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Lean/Continuous Improvement knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Manufacturing ERPs (Job Boss).

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate EDM/CNC machines and related equipment.
• Make edits and adjustments to meet specs.
• Inspect dimensional features per work orders and blueprints.
• Ensure quality and productivity per company requirements.
• Complete paperwork on counts, scrap, and time accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and train others as needed.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve process or system issues.
• Comply with OSHA, health, safety, and environment requirements.
• Support department objectives and skill development.

Job Title: CNC Machinist 2nd Shift Location: Fully Onsite in Farmington, CT 3:30-12 Midnight Type: Direct Hire Salary: $25-30 per hour Plus Excellent Benefits

• Set Up and operates EDM/CNC machines and other related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
• Makes all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work orders/blueprint specifications/sketches.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of feeds and speeds and a working knowledge of cutting tools and their application.
• Inspects work as required for all dimensional features as required.
• Produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with Company requirements.
• Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc.
• Perform duties always exercising good machining practices.
• Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
• Trains, guides, and assists other employees as required.
• Taking a proactive approach to solving process or system related problems and coordinating with other team members/departments when necessary for resolution of problems
• Comply with OSHA, health, safety, and environment requirements.
• May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual’s skills.
