Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire 2nd shift Machinist job in Erie, PA for our client, a manufacturer of quality commercial and government products. We are seeking candidates that have hands-on CNC lathe machining experience, excellent math and measurement skills, and can read blueprints. This is a second shift position in a union environment offering excellent benefits including profit sharing, 401K, and low-cost and low-deductible medical insurance. Pay rates are between $20.90 and $22.90 plus a shift premium and periodic pay rate increases that are mandated by the union agreement.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) or more years of experience operating CNC Machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Must pass pre-employment physicals and screenings.
• Able to work overtime when needed.
