Job summary

RBC Bearings in Westminster, SC seeks a reliable CNC Operator to fabricate precision parts. You will load parts, run cycles, inspect outputs and communicate with teammates to ensure smooth production flows.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, performing basic measurements with handheld tools, maintaining a clean, safe workspace and documenting production activities in accordance with job instructions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading blueprints and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical machine shop operations.
• Detect and report defective materials to management.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document as required.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Operate two or more CNC machines efficiently, including setup and deburring.
• Inspect machined parts and verify against drawings.
• Complete paperwork for parts and production logs.
• Perform basic troubleshooting as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. Loads parts in machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Run production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains safe, organized and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical machine shop operations
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee
• Perform Preventative Maintenance and document as required
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
• Operates two or more CNC machines efficiently, including setup and deburring without assistance
• Perform inspection of machined products, measuring parts to meet print specifications
• Complete and maintain paperwork for parts
• Perform basic troubleshooting as required
• Perform all other duties, as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk (on concrete surfaces), bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and lift to perform repetitive movements
• Must be able to lift/push/pull objects up to 35 pounds, heavier objects require assistance
• Ability to adhere to safety policies
• Must have working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing (basic oral instructions, simple written memos and instructions)
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math to perform basic calculations and use basic hand held measuring tools

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• CNC Associates Degree from Technical School required
• 1-3 Years Manufacturing Experience Preferred

PAY RANGE

$22.00 - $26.00
