Job summary

RBC Bearings' Westminster, SC facility is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to load and cycle parts, detect tool wear, run production lots, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. You will interact with teammates to run production lots and maintain equipment in good working order.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a CNC technical degree, and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience. You must stand, lift up to 35 pounds, read drawings, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform typical machine shop operations.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance and document as required.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Operates two or more CNC machines efficiently, including setup and deburring without assistance.
• Perform inspection of machined products, measuring parts to meet print specifications.
• Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.
• Perform basic troubleshooting as required.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Run production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains safe, organized and clean work environment.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk (on concrete surfaces), bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and lift to perform repetitive movements
• Must be able to lift/push/pull objects up to 35 pounds, heavier objects require assistance
• Ability to adhere to safety policies
• Must have working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing (basic oral instructions, simple written memos and instructions)
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math to perform basic calculations and use basic hand held measuring tools

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• CNC Associates Degree from Technical School required
• 1-3 Years Manufacturing Experience Preferred

PAY RANGE

$22.00 - $26.00
