Job summary

Omniseal Solutions in Bristol, RI is seeking a CNC Machinist I to support precision manufacturing operations on 2nd shift. You will operate CNC milling, turning and grinding machines to produce high-quality components for aerospace, automotive, and industrial sectors.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1 year CNC experience preferred and possible NIMS/CNC training. Excellent communication, detail orientation, and ability to work overtime are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience may substitute.
• 1 yr experience in CNC Machining for Mills, Lathes or Grinding preferred.
• CNC Machining Training Completion or NIMS Certification preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliability, detail-oriented, and able to work overtime.

• Perform basic inspections using precision measuring tools (Micrometers, Gauges, CMM, Etc)

Hours: 2:30pm-1:00AM Monday-Thursday OR Tuesday-Friday.

$21.00 to $28.00 an hour ($2.50 Shift Differential)

This role operates CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines to produce high-quality components for the Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive and industrial sectors while following safety, quality, and production standards.

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and CNC grinding machines
• Perform basic inspections using precision measuring tools (Micrometers, Gauges, CMM, Etc)

Is this job for you ?

• High School Diploma or equivalent (will consider candidates with considerable experience in lieu of education requirement)
• 1 yr Experience in CNC Machining for Mills, Lathes or Grinding, Preferred
• CNC Machining Training Completion or NIMS Certification, Preferred
• Effective verbal/written communications skills and organizational skills
• Must have strong work ethic, attention to detail, good attendance, and flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Work in a manner that complies with all site policies and procedures, actively demonstrate SG principles of conduct & action, and adhere to all EHS requirements

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the local pay range for this position, which is $21.00 - $28.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 5% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $51,300 to $66,600 Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
