Job summary

Saint-Gobain Granville is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to slit, rewind and package PVC, urethane, and paper/polyethylene liners per production schedules. You will ensure quality control as products ship directly from this department to customers.

The role offers overtime, a starting pay of $21.50/hr with a $1.00 shift differential (and a potential $0.50 raise after 6 months), plus annual bonus opportunities and long-term career potential within Saint-Gobain

Impact:

Mfg Machine Operator (Winding Machine)- P Rimarily responsible for slitting a variety of materials into various widths and lengths to meet customer orders and for further in-house processing. Operations include slitting, rewinding, and packaging of a variety of products including PVC, Urethane, and paper/polyethylene liners, per production schedules and SOPs. Since products are shipped directly from this department to the customer, attention to quality control is especially important.

Provides support to programs in Granville, NY within the defined continuous improvement framework, in a manner consistent with Saint-Gobain EHS Policies and Principles of Conduct and Action.

Employees are required to work overtime as scheduled. This includes before/after shift or weekend shift.

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday- 11:30 pm - 8:00 am

Pay: $21.50/hr to start plus $1.00 shift differential ($.50 increase in hourly rate after 6 months)

Each year, based on individual/business performance, employees have the potential to receive annual bonus in March and merit increase in April.

• Located within rural Washington County in Upstate New York.
• Manchester, VT- 30 minutes
• Bounded on the east by the Green Mountains of Vermont, the north by Lake Champlain and Lake George, the west by Saratoga Springs and the south by the Capital District.
• Many local outdoor recreational opportunities. This includes a recreational trail that runs directly behind the site.
• Not accessible by public transportation.

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The local pay range for this position is $21.50 per hour, plus shift differential of $1.00/hr. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location/geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures.

The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate, Bonus and Shift Differential, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks) for this position, is $51,400.
