Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Vancouver, WA to set up and operate Fanuc CNC machines, read blueprints, and ensure high-quality production. This permanent position requires 2+ years of machining experience, strong math skills, and a sharp eye for detail.

You will work on precision parts and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We offer competitive hourly pay up to $45, a monthly bonus up to 20%, full benefits, 401k matching, PTO and holidays, tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient with Fanuc CNC machines and software.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Detail oriented with a results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Fanuc CNC machines (drilling, milling, grinding).
• Read and interpret blueprints/drawings to meet specifications.
• Translate mechanical requirements into machine instructions.
• Load materials and fixtures; inspect finished parts for conformance.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Maintain safe, organized, and clean work area.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient workflow and scheduling.
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
• Test operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure machinery efficiency, proper job sequencing, and coordinated workflow.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in using Fanuc CNC and Fanuc software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations.
• Expertise in machine programming and CNC machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
