Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Los Angeles area manufacturing team in La Mirada, CA. This permanent, on-site role focuses on setting up and operating Fanuc CNC machines to produce precision parts with consistency and high quality.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of CNC experience, proficiency with Fanuc software, and the ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings. You’ll collaborate with a team to maintain safety, efficiency, and on-time production.

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring the efficient running of production. Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
• Test operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure machinery efficiency, proper job sequencing, and coordinated workflow.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in using Fanuc CNC and Fanuc software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations.
• Expertise in machine programming and CNC machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
