John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions Company, is offering a great opportunity for a CNC Machinist in Tulsa, OK. This position is ideal for an entry-level machinist looking to jumpstart their career in a dynamic and innovative environment. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for utilizing gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements and operating precision tools, machinery, and equipment, including lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.

Shift Details: First Shift: Monday - Friday (6:00am - 2:30pm)

Responsibilities

1. Operate CNC machines with skilled precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
2. Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
3. Properly and safely select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
4. Recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling
5. Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
6. Must be willing and able to walk, stand, stoop, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs

Basic Qualifications

1. Previous CNC machining experience
2. Experience using precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
3. Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

1. 2+ years experience working in a CNC Machinist role
2. 5-axis experience
