Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the engineering industry? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Permanent CNC Machinist. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure the production of high-quality components. You will also be expected to interpret blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a high level of precision in all aspects of your work. If you have a passion for precision, a knack for problem-solving, and a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components.
• Interpret and follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and parts.
• Use precision tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
• Perform tooling, grinding, and lathe operations as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company guidelines.
• Collaborate with a team of machinists and engineers to improve production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor output to identify or discard any defective parts or products.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role in the engineering industry.
• Proficiency in CNC machine operation, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, tooling, grinding, lathe operation, and precision measurement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of metal properties and machining procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification or degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
