Job summary

Ascendion in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will program parts using templated CAM programs in Fusion 360, load materials, monitor machine status, and start jobs to meet delivery commitments.

Qualifications include experience with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360 or equivalent), CNC operation (hobby or professional), and ability to read 2D/3D drawings. Desirable skills include post-processing, prototyping shop experience, and familiarity with

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360 or equivalent).
• CNC machine operation -- hobby or commercial grade.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in a prototyping shop environment
• Post‑processing skills (deburring, sanding, abrasive blasting)
• SolidWorks, Mastercam, or Rhino familiarity.

Salary Range:

The salaryfor this position is between$40,000 - $60,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
