Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a CNC Machinist in Seattle, WA to join a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-quality components. This role focuses on sheet metal fabrication, operating laser, waterjet, plasma cutters, and related equipment while ensuring quality and safety standards.

You will read engineering drawings, set up machines, measure parts with calipers and micrometers, and collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of sheet metal fabrication experience or technical training.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment including laser cutters, waterjet cutters, plasma cutters, press brakes, PEM, and shears.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Set up machines according to CNC programs and work instructions, monitoring operation for quality.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality defects using measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance.

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Services department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $38.00 to $42.00 per hour
