Job summary

Cascade is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Santa Fe Springs team. The ideal candidate will program and operate both horizontal and vertical lathes, modifying programs and running production parts for our high-volume industrial water pump manufacturing.

Additional responsibilities include tooling selection, managing the CNC program catalog, and ensuring quality through detailed inspection of parts. Benefits include medical insurance, profit sharing, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CNC machines, especially for producing custom parts.
• Ability to inspect parts and use precision measuring equipment.
• Strong communication skills to address manufacturing issues.

CNC Machinist

For over 75 years Cascade Pump has been a leader in Low Lift high volume Industrial water pump manufacturing. We are looking for a CNC Machinist to program and operate horizontal and vertical Lathes for production of large industrial water pump parts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Modify existing programs for custom parts
• Write programs for new machines and new processes
• Fixturing design and setup
• Tooling selection and management
• Manage CNC program catalog
• Run production parts
• Inspect parts to print
• Communicate machine and manufacturing issues with management
• Promote and practice Quality Awareness and Quality Culture within the Machine department
