Overview

Discflo™ Corporation leads the field in engineering pump solutions for hard‑to‑pump applications. Founded in 1982, the company has built a world‑wide reputation designing industrial pumps to solve some of the toughest pumping problems.

We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified CNC Mill Machinist to join our production team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills.
• Set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and specialized/advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using basic knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and countersinks.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
• Must be able to understand G and M code language, as well as basic program editing.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of CNC experience.
• Experience and familiarity with Fanuc control.
• Experience with at least 4‑axis machining (5‑axis experience is a plus).
• Knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
• Must be able to produce quality parts efficiently.
• Must be able to read basic blueprints and perform basic shop math.
• Must have a basic understanding of the machining process, including, but not limited to tooling, set‑ups, editing, speeds, feeds.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work with little supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Salary

$45,000 – $55,000
