Anatometal in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. You will independently set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-tolerance body jewelry components.

You will interpret blueprints and CAD models, perform quality inspections, and maintain production targets safely. This role offers hands-on training, strong growth potential, and a competitive benefits package, including a sign-on bonus up to $1,000.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on CNC experience preferred.

The ideal candidate will independently set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce complex, high-tolerance parts. You will interpret blueprints, perform rigorous quality inspections, and ensure all production targets are met safely and efficiently.**\\*\\*Qualified Candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $1000!****Key Responsibilities** • Programming & Setup: Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code). Set up, adjust, and fixture mills and lathes to strict specifications. • Monitor machine operation to ensure efficient performance and consistent product quality. • Blueprint Reading: Analyze complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and work orders to determine the optimal machining sequence. • Machining & Monitoring: Load raw materials, monitor feeds and speeds, and observe machine operations to ensure quality cutting and shaping. **Qualifications & Requirements** • Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist, Programmer, or Setup Operator preferred • Basic knowledge of CNC machining concepts and tooling. • Experience working with titanium or precision metal components is preferred. • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
