WALCO Tool & Engineering in the Romeoville, IL area is seeking skilled machinists who take pride in precision. Set up and run CNC vertical milling machines, perform contour milling, drilling, boring and tapping, and read blueprints to maintain tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC vertical mill setup and operation.
• Working knowledge of G & M codes.
• Experience with materials such as steel, aluminum, cast iron and alloys.
• High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Ability to physically lift/push/pull objects up to 40 lbs.
• Standard measuring tools required.

Compensation and schedule:

• $22-30 per hour, based on experience with opportunities for overtime
• Second shift employees receive a 10% shift differential on top of base pay
• Second shift employees have the option to choose between five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, depending on availability
