Advantage Technical in Raymond, OH is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with programming experience to join a growing manufacturing team and produce high-quality precision parts.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years CNC programming and machining experience, experience with mills, lathes, and manual machining equipment, CAD/CAM software (CATIA, Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar), and a strong understanding of GD&T and G-code. Read blueprints with ease and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, and manual machining equipment.
• Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software (CATIA, Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar).
• Strong understanding of GD&T, G-code, tooling, and precision measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes.
• Create and optimize CNC programs for complex machined components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Perform machine setups, tooling selection, and fixture design.
• Verify dimensions and quality using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make program adjustments as needed.
• Calculate speeds, feeds, and machining requirements for various materials.
• Maintain equipment and follow preventive maintenance procedures.
• Follow all quality and safety standards.
