Job summary

ProMach is hiring a CNC Machinist to support our Lako division in Perrysburg, OH. Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and ensure high-precision parts meet specifications.

Work in a high-mix, low-volume job-shop setting with emphasis on quality and efficiency. The role requires 3+ years CNC experience, CAD/CAM familiarity (MasterCAM/SolidWorks/Fusion 360), and the ability to edit programs as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., MasterCAM, SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
• Experience interpreting blueprints and GD&T, and maintaining tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (vertical, horizontal, multi-axis).
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Inspect parts during/after machining to ensure tolerances and print compliance.

In this hands-on role, you will set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes. You will work with downloaded programs and adjust them to ensure accurate, high-quality parts.We offer a modern, clean, safe, and climate-controlled work environment. Our team focuses on building world-class packaging equipment for a global customer base.**Do you enjoy this work?*** Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes including vertical, horizontal, and multi-axis machines.* Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.* Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, and other precision instruments.* Maintain tight tolerances (often within ±0.0001′′ depending on component).* Make tooling, offsets, and program adjustments using G and M codes as required.* Run existing CNC programs with the ability to make minor edits for efficiency or dimensional accuracy.* Machine a variety of metals (tool steels, stainless steels, aluminum, etc.) and non-metal materials as required.* Work within a job-shop scheduling environment: high mix, low volume, short runs.* Inspect parts during and after machining to ensure quality standards and print compliance.* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.* Collaborate with engineering, tooling, and grinding departments as needed.**If this sounds like you, we want to connect!*** High School Diploma* 3+ years of CNC machining experience* Vertical and/or horizontal machining experience (4th and 5th axis a plus).* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., MasterCAM, SolidWorks, Fusion 360) is a plus.* Experience machining tight-tolerance components for high-precision assemblies.* Grinding experience (surface, OD/ID, or jig) is preferred.* Ability to interpret and modify G and M code.* Comfortable running programs written by others. **What’s in it for you?** There's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
