Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Anaheim, CA. You will set up and operate Fanuc CNC machines, read blueprints, and ensure precision in drilling, milling, and grinding.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, strong programming ability, and a meticulous eye for detail. This permanent, on-site role offers competitive pay and robust benefits, including 401(k) and health coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
• Proficient in using Fanuc CNC and Fanuc software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations.
• Expertise in machine programming and CNC machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines to perform drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand task specifications.
• Translate instructions into computer commands for machines.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure requirements.
• Test operation of machines periodically for smooth running.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace per policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors for efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
• Test operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure machinery efficiency, proper job sequencing, and coordinated workflow.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in using Fanuc CNC and Fanuc software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations.
• Expertise in machine programming and CNC machine operation.
