OMS Precision Machining in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC machines. The role requires read blueprints, perform GD&T, and ensure parts meet specifications.

Qualifications

POSITION DETAILS

Reports to: Plant Manager
Job type: Full-time, hourly
Location: On site in Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:00pm; overtime available on Fridays.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS

• CNC G Code Programming.
• Set up and operate CNC machine tools.
• Instruct operators on procedures after setup.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge of CNC machine tools and processes, cutting tools, and quality inspection equipment. Skills in CNC machine setup and operation, G-code programming and editing, tooling speeds and feeds, blueprint reading, and GD&T.

ABILITY TO

• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Keep the machine and work area tidy throughout the shift.
• Produce parts to blueprint specifications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A technical degree in CNC manufacturing and/or at least two years of experience in a CNC manufacturing environment. Two years of CNC programming experience preferred.
