Are you a skilled CNC Machinist seeking a challenging and rewarding career in the manufacturing industry? We are a leading manufacturing firm, renowned for our innovative and high-quality products. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine operation, metalworking, and precision measurement. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

As a CNC Machinist, your key responsibilities will include

  • Operating and maintaining CNC machines to ensure efficient and quality production.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and drawings to understand the specifications of the product.
  • Performing complex machine setups to ensure accuracy of the machine operation.
  • Using precision measurement tools to inspect and ensure that the final product meets the required specifications.
  • Utilizing lathe operation, grinding, and tooling skills to create and modify parts.
  • Working with horizontal boring mills and other machinery as required.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Troubleshooting any machine malfunctions and performing necessary repairs.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to optimize machining processes.
  • Continually improving and updating your knowledge and skills in the field.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CNC machine operation, blueprint reading, metalworking, and precision measurement.
  • Strong knowledge of lathe operation, grinding, tooling, and working with horizontal boring mills.
  • Exceptional mathematical skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
