Job Details

Responsibilities

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for

• Setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Reading and interpreting complex blueprints, engineering plans, and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Operating various types of CNC equipment, including lathes and mills, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conducting regular inspections of machinery, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
• Performing routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Working closely with the quality control team to ensure that all parts meet stringent quality standards.
• Identifying and troubleshooting problems with the machines or the parts they produce.
• Working with the production team to meet deadlines and production goals.
• Continuously improving processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including lathes and mills.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Excellent understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Proven experience in producing precision machined parts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to troubleshoot issues with machinery and parts.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
