Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Turning Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team in New Hartford, CT. You will set up, program (optional at level), and operate CNC lathes to produce tight-tolerance parts.

2nd and 3rd shifts are available. The role offers competitive hourly pay with overtime, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and paid time off in a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–7+ years of CNC machining experience, with a focus on: CNC turning / lathe work, High-precision or tight-tolerance manufacturing.
• Experience in industries such as metal stamping, automotive, aerospace, or medical preferred.
• Experience with CNC lathes/turning centers (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, etc.).
• Working knowledge of G-code programming and edits (preferred).
• Strong understanding of: Blueprint reading, GD&T, Tooling and cutting parameters.
• Ability to use precision inspection tools.
