Job summary

Aerotek in Joppa, MD is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to setup and operate CNC mills and lathes. You will mount and align workpieces, fixtures, and tooling, program edit CNC software, and read engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications.

This permanent, on-site role offers a night shift (10 PM–6:30 AM) in a large, clean shop. Pay ranges from $54,080 to $66,560 per year with benefits from day one; 2+ years of CNC experience and 3- and 5-axis exposure are preferred; a

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working with CNC machines.
  • Experience working with 3 and 5 axis machines.
  • Exposure to close tolerance work, typically on the order of a few thousandths of an inch.
  • Use of calipers or micrometers.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • English reading, writing and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, write, and understand and communicate the company's operating procedures and policies.

Work Environment

Work in a large, clean machine shop located in Harford County. Our facility includes various departments such as machining, assembly, fabrication, and engineering. The working hours for this position are from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $66560.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
