Job summary

Oil-Rite, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC machinist to operate mills and lathes, load materials, and inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy. You will read blueprints, set up machines, and ensure safe, efficient production in a clean facility.

The role requires basic math, the ability to use calipers and gauge tools, and clear communication in English. Candidates with HS diploma or technical training preferred; lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating CNC machinery and reading part drawings.
• Able to interpret setup sheets and follow routers.
• Experience with basic handheld measuring tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Create components from steel, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel on CNC and similar machinery.
• Consult blueprints and set-up sheets to prepare the machine to run a specific part.
• Use a caliper, ring gauge and similar measuring equipment to verify dimensions.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to Plant Manager or designee.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
• Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, CNC lathe, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding.
• Perform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results).
• Suggest improvements that could contribute to better machined parts or efficiency.
• Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY: Operate CNC machines.Load metal bars in machines, cycle machines, measure parts, and detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools.Oil-Rite, LLC has been around since 1933, manufacturer of industrial lubrication equipment in a clean and organized facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Create components from steel, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel on CNC and similar machinery.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to occasionally lift/push/pull objects that are 50 pounds.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or graduation from certified technical school.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

• Must have working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing (basic oral instructions, simple written memos and instructions).
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math to perform basic calculations, and use basic handheld measuring tools.
